Terms of Use
Effective 5 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the WrestleOS platform at wrestleos.app, operated from Cape Town, South Africa (“WrestleOS”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or registering a wrestler you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.
2. What WrestleOS is
WrestleOS is club-management infrastructure for the sport of wrestling: digital registration, consent-form management and member administration for clubs, coaches, athletes and parents. WrestleOS is a platform provider. We are not a wrestling federation, a club, an event organiser or a medical service, and we are not a party to the relationship between a wrestler and their club or federation.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Users under 18 may only be registered as wrestlers by, or with the involvement of, a parent or legal guardian, who must complete and sign the required consent forms on the minor’s behalf.
4. Registration information
Wrestler registrations are used by clubs and may be relied on by the South African Wrestling Federation (SAWF) and its structures. You warrant that all information you submit — including identity numbers, dates of birth, health information and parent details — is true, accurate and submitted with the necessary authority. Submitting another person’s information without authority is a breach of these terms.
5. Consent forms
The anti-doping and indemnity declarations signed on WrestleOS are agreements between the signer, the wrestler, the club and the relevant wrestling authorities (including the SAWF and United World Wrestling). WrestleOS provides the means to complete, sign and store these declarations but is not a party to them. Digital signatures captured on the platform are intended to have the same effect as handwritten signatures to the extent permitted by South African law, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002.
6. Acceptable use
You may not: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; access or attempt to access information of wrestlers, clubs or users you are not authorised to see; interfere with the operation or security of the platform; or use platform data for commercial purposes outside the administration of your club. Club administrators may only use member information for legitimate club administration.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep WrestleOS available and accurate, but the platform is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the platform and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Liability
Wrestling is a physical contact sport carrying inherent risk. Participation decisions, medical fitness, coaching and supervision are the responsibility of wrestlers, parents, clubs and officials — not WrestleOS. To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, WrestleOS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, and our total liability in respect of any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Termination
You may stop using WrestleOS and request deletion of your data at any time (see the Privacy Policy for retention obligations that may apply to consent records). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Questions about these terms: admin@wrestleos.app.
